Area of application

  • Entry and exit protection

    The control of entry and exit is of great importance for logistics companies – here, a perfect interaction of locking system, alarm technology and video surveillance must guarantee that no foreign vehicles or unauthorised persons pass through the logistics premises. Video-based storage of vehicle data enables both a live check and a retrospective review.

  • Loading and unloading

    Experience shows that many incidents occur during the loading and unloading of goods. At this link in the long logistics chain, parcels can be damaged or even stolen through carelessness. The aim here is to check whether all the packages in a cargo unit are present and whether they have been loaded and unloaded in one piece. Damage that has occurred and damage that already exists must be clearly recorded in order to be able to clarify who was responsible for the goods at the time of the damage in the event of a dispute. Video surveillance makes a decisive contribution here as well and provides valid evidence with detailed surveillance images.

  • Hall area

    In both large and small warehouses, there are areas and moments when goods go unobserved and therefore become targets for theft. Protect yourself against it: With clear and seamlessly video-monitored goods routes as well as time-controlled access rights – only employees who are actually working in the hall should be allowed to enter this place.

  • Value range

    Great values should never be left unprotected and unguarded. Solid container locks such as the VdS-approved Granit lock from ABUS protect containers from being broken into. Motion sensors integrated into a video surveillance system also detect all persons in the security zone at any time of day or night.

  • Outdoor use

    The outdoor area poses a high safety risk, especially in the dark. A high-quality key system integrating the entire logistics area protects against intruders. An intrusion alarm system in combination with video surveillance technology is also recommended – if an alarm is triggered, security personnel should be available to check the alarm and, if necessary, call for police reinforcements immediately. To increase security at night, additional spotlights can be installed to improve visibility and also facilitate video surveillance recording.
