787 KEYGARAGE™ One UP TO 20 KEYS

Our smart KEYGARAGE One 787 for wall mounting brings convenience to your key management. Discover the advantages of the app-controlled key box:

Lock and open the key box using a numeric code or smartphone
Convenient set-up and clear management via app

You can attach the KEYGARAGE to a wall in a protected outdoor area so that it is securely fixed and accessible. The spacious compartment of the key box offers space for up to 20 keys or three car keys or for up to 30 access cards in EC card format. If you know the correct numeric code, you can open the key box.

This is practical for handing over keys to guests in a holiday flat – you don't have to make an appointment on site. But you can also easily grant access to tradespeople, cleaners or mobile care services with the smart key box. As the admin, you do this by using the app to create an individual numeric code for the person you want to grant access to – this also works with a time limit.

You can also send an invitation via the app so that others can operate the KEYGARAGE key box with their smartphone. You retain control and can limit or revoke permissions at any time. The key box with sturdy metal housing is IP54 splash-proof and can be installed in protected outdoor areas.

Use the separately available BRIDGE One to control your KEYGARAGE One remotely, manage permissions, optionally receive push notifications when it is used and view the event log.

New name – new app

With the integration of the key storage box KEYGARAGE™ 787 SMART Bluetooth® into the new ABUS One app, the product name has also changed to KEYGARAGE™ One 787. The previously used HomeTec Pro Bluetooth® app can still be used to operate the KEYGARAGE for the time being.

Can I also use the Smart KeyGarage™ outdoors?

Yes, you can. The Smart KeyGarage™ is tested according to protection class IP54 and weather-resistant. However, we recommend choosing a sheltered location outdoors.

Can I retrofit the wall-mounted version of the Smart KeyGarage™ with a shackle later?

Yes, the shackle and the foam rubber plate are available separately as accessories.

Can I also generate an opening code from home if I am not within range of the Smart KeyGarage™?

No, in order to generate an opening code, a Bluetooth® connection to the Smart KeyGarage™ must be ensured. Only electronic access tickets can be created and sent from the app without a Bluetooth® connection.

Can I redeem an access ticket from home if I am not within range of the Smart KeyGarage™?

No, in order to be able to redeem the access ticket, a Bluetooth® connection to the Smart KeyGarage™ must be ensured.

As a Smart KeyGarage™ user, can I also create individual opening codes?

No, only the administrator is authorised to assign individual opening codes. When the user creates an opening code, it is generated automatically.

As an admin, can I choose any opening code I want?

Technically, yes, but for security reasons we recommend that you do not choose a simple series of numbers. Furthermore, the code "000000" is not approved for security reasons and therefore cannot be used as an opening code.

Do I always have to assign a 6-digit opening code?

Yes, this is mandatory as only 6-digit codes are accepted. A 6-digit code ensures higher security: it has one million possible opening codes. With a 4-digit code, it would only be 10,000.

How many different users can be created?

Up to 28 different users can be created. If more than 28 users are created, the oldest user without current authorisation is automatically deleted.

As an admin, can I view a list of the codes that have been assigned?

Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment. If a code has been forgotten, a new one must be assigned.

Which mobile phone operating systems are compatible with the HomeTec Pro app for the Smart KeyGarage™?

The HomeTec Pro app runs on Android devices as well as on smartphones with iOS operating systems.

Can I use the Smart KeyGarage™ with several end devices at the same time?

In principle, the Smart KeyGarage™ can be used with different and multiple end devices. However, they cannot be used at the same time because the "Multiconnect" function has not been implemented.

Can I make the keypad backlight brighter?

No, unfortunately this is not possible. To make it clear that the Smart KeyGarage™ has been "woken up", a white LED lights up brightly for a short time when it is woken up.

What is the battery life?

When the Smart KeyGarage™ is operated exclusively via code entry, the battery life is up to one year. If the Smart KeyGarage™ is operated exclusively via the app, the battery life is up to two and a half years.

Which and how many batteries do I need for the Smart KeyGarage™?

Two AA batteries are required.

What do I do when the batteries are empty?

The batteries can be replaced quickly and easily as the battery compartment is accessible from the outside.

Will I get a message when the batteries need to be replaced?

As soon as the batteries run low, you will be notified via the LED lights before each opening and closing of the Smart KeyGarage™ that the batteries will soon have to be changed: this is indicated by flashing orange three times.
