To protect your business against burglary, you should invest in the security of your doors. You can effectively increase the security of your premises using additional door locks and the basic elements.
The basic mechanical equipment of a secured front door includes a door cylinder with security card, a sturdy mortice lock, a door fitting with pulling protection (or alternatively a protective escutcheon plate, depending on the nature of the door) and a security strike plate with wall anchors.
Further door deadlocks such as security door bars or door deadlocks and security hinge locks are recommended if office buildings or company buildings have side and basement doors. Such doors are usually hidden and therefore a popular target for intruders.
