In 1924, August Bremicker and his sons ventured into independence in the small village of Volmarstein an der Ruhr and began producing the first padlocks. Today, the former business in the cellar of the family home has developed into a group of companies operating worldwide.

ABUS offers a range of security hasps, identifiable by concealed screws and equipped with hardened steel staples to secure the padlock shackle. When combined with the appropriate padlock, they provide optimal security for doors and gates.
