In 1924, August Bremicker and his sons ventured into independence in the small village of Volmarstein an der Ruhr and began producing the first padlocks. Today, the former business in the cellar of the family home has developed into a group of companies operating worldwide.

The ABUS Brass 83WPIB padlock offers unparalleled weather resistance, making it a perfect choice for outdoor use, including boats and ships.

Constructed with a solid brass lock body coated with synthetic material and a rustproof shackle crafted from hardened stainless steel, this padlock boasts exceptional corrosion resistance and can withstand harsh weather conditions. Additionally, its cylinder protection includes a drainage channel that efficiently directs moisture away from the lock's interior, ensuring lasting reliability and durability.
