Description


The IP Tube, part of the B.A.S Special line, delivers video streams in 2 MPx resolution at up to 30 frames/sec. Thanks to its integrated IR LEDs, the weatherproof housing, which meets protection class IP67, enables outdoor use whether day or night. The camera can be conveniently accessed via the app.

Optimised for number plate recognition
The camera has an integrated analysis algorithm, and is therefore suitable for monitoring business premises and car parks, and carrying out access control. Number plates of moving cars are recognised automatically at speeds of up to 70 km/h; information is stored with photos or video clips.

Automatic access control
Gates and barriers can be controlled by comparing the number plates with positive/negative lists, so that only authorised vehicles can pass.

Optimal overview
The motorised zoom lens (focal length of 2.8–12 mm) monitors an area of 39–104°. Users can conveniently and precisely set the focal length and focus in the browser.

Recording and compatibility
Images are recorded on an ABUS NVR, a third-party VMS or locally on a microSD card.

Convenient installation
The free “ABUS IP Installer” is available for convenient network installation. The software locates the camera directly in the network and assists with setup.

Note: No power supply unit is included with the camera. We recommend powering the camera via PoE or our power supply unit.
The effective IR range will depend on the installation location. If there are surfaces that absorb light or no objects that reflect IR light in the field of view, the IR range will be reduced and/or the video image will be too dark. Reflective objects in the immediate vicinity of the camera (e.g. roof gutter or wall) may also cause IR light to be reflected, which can disrupt the image

For safe and proper operation, this device must be installed and regularly maintained by a professional trained by us. Arrange regular maintenance appointments with your installer to ensure trouble-free operation in the long term with the latest security updates and new functions.
