The Cuno power station, built in 1908, is one of the first power stations in the Ruhr region. As part of its modernisation, ABUS kitted out the power station with a modern key system.

The Herdecke power station, Germany 

The Herdecke power station site looks back on a 100-year history: in 1908, the first power station of "Kommunale Elektrizitätswerk Mark A.G.", now Mark-E, founded two years earlier, was put into operation here. To meet the growing energy demand, the former thermal power station for electricity and heat generation was largely demolished in 2005 and rebuilt as a gas and turbine power station. In the course of this, ABUS equipped the building with a suitable key system.
